My birthday wish

As many of you know, in the past couple of years, schizophrenia has become
something I am quite passionate about. It is a scary disorder that can change a
person completely with symptoms like hallucination and social withdrawal, which
often results in discrimination against these patients. Schizophrenia affects
roughly 1 in 100 people, yet the progress in developing new treatments is slow
due to the complexity of this disorder. The actual causes of schizophrenia is
still unknown, and much research still needs to be done, which is why I need
your help.

For my birthday this year (coming up in a month), I've decided to do a
fundraising for Schizophrenia Research Institute, so instead of giving my
presents, you guys can donate that money to Schizophrenia Research Institute
instead. It is the only national medical research institute dedicated to
discovering the ways to prevent and cure schizophrenia, which makes it a perfect
candidate for this fundraising.

The fundraising starts on 8/11/11 and lasts until a week after my birthday (18/12/11). It is up to you how much you would like to donate, because in the end, it all adds up! Thank you so much for taking your time reading this :)
