Benji is an Australian lone soldier currently serving in the IDF. Like many IDF soldiers, Benji’s unit is facing the harsh reality of being under-resourced when it comes to non-essential but much-needed items. As Jewish mothers, we believe that while these items might be considered ‘luxuries,’ they are essential for our soldiers who are risking their lives for us every day.
With the nights growing colder, Benji’s unit has requested lightweight sleeping bags, which are our primary concern right now. These will provide much-needed comfort, especially during long, cold nights. In addition, the soldiers’ food supply is limited to basic staples like tins of tuna, hummus, and beans. We want to provide them with high-calorie protein bars—lightweight and easy to carry—so they have access to the energy they need to keep going.
Our immediate goal is to raise enough funds to supply Benji’s unit with these essential items. However, if we exceed our target, we hope to extend this support to other units, prioritizing those with Australian lone soldiers, and eventually to all who are in need.
There is no end in sight to this war, and our soldiers need to know they’re not alone. Every donation, big or small, sends a powerful message: we are thinking of them, and we are endlessly grateful for their bravery and sacrifice.
Please help us make a difference for our soldiers by donating today. Together, we can provide them with the support they deserve.
