Nyambeshi Preschool is in rural Tanzania where there are no public services such as electricty, water or schools. The children walk 40 minutes to the closest primary school.
Young children had no access to preschool prior to Rehema Projects constructing a building prior to Covid near few shops and the church which comprise the village centre.
One classroom of two is completed but the second classroom was not completed and the following works will make it useable:
Completion of brickwork and installation of ceiling boards $1,515; Concrete the floor $1,591; Rendering walls $1,050; Complete veranda $1,288; Doors & windows $1,518 TOTAL $6,962
I am assisting Heather Johnstone who is in the video who will personally supervise the work being undertaken after her return from England in January 2025. She has lived here for eight years and I am supporting her efforts (after visiting the preschool late September) to get this preschool finished
