Around 250,000 healthy cats and dogs are put down each year due to backyard breeding, strays, lack of homes, behavioural issues. Lack of finances and lack of desexing. There is only so many rescues that operate and can help. Majority of rescues and foundations are not government supported and rely on donations to continue helping those unfortunate animals. A lot of animals are bought as gifts for kids and then forgotten and given up. Let's give these animals a Christmas gift, with this fund-raiser ending on Christmas day.
