On Friday 30th August 2024, whilst Leeuwin was berthed alongside Fremantle Harbour, she was hit by a large cargo vessel. The damage was significant and has resulted in the temporary cessation of our Adventure Based Training program. Leeuwin was built with one purpose in mind - to change lives. For more than 35 years, this beloved tall ship has sailed voyages that remain touchstones in the lives of all who went aboard. Now she needs our help to return to her mission of helping the youth of Western Australia.
My Cause Gift Fund for Leeuwin Ocean Adventure Foundation
Funds donated to the My Cause Gift Fund will be disbursed to Leeuwin Ocean Adventure Foundation. The trustees will always disburse funds to the nominated cause, however in the case that that is not possible, the funds will be disbursed to a DGR charity at the trustees discretion.
