About Reema's Work Reema’s research focuses on personalized oncology, specifically targeting lung cancer, a disease responsible for 1.8 million deaths annually. The Asselin-Labat Lab is pioneering efforts to enhance immunotherapy treatments, which currently have limited efficacy against lung cancer. By studying tumour-immune cell interactions with advanced spatial and genomic methods, they aim to significantly improve patient outcomes. Reema's Inspiration "Climbing Mt.
