In July 2021, the Milsom family lost our mum, wife, grandma, sister and aunty to Sarcoma which is a rare form of cancer that begins in the bones and soft tissues within the body. Mum battled for 6 years going through various types of treatments and in the past 2 years I have done between 20 thousand and 30 thousand steps on each day of July (this is the month that raises awareness for Sarcoma). This year, the family wants to get together and walk the rail trail from the Stump Hotel to the old Railway Station in Tallangatta which is approximately 35 kilometres to raise funds for ANZSA on Friday October the 4th.
The Australia and New Zealand Sarcoma Association (ANZSA) is the peak body for sarcoma research, education and awareness. Through your generosity, ANZSA dedicates 100% of your donations towards crucial sarcoma research and clinical trials to save and improve lives.
