The last couple weeks have been extreme weather for Bali locals. It's caused devastating damage to our sanctuary that houses over 130 dogs. Luckily, no one was hurt. But the homes for these neglected pups is in need of serious repair. Large trees have snapped and fallen, destroying the structure of the shelters these doggos call home. With more chaotic weather on the way, we don't want any harm to come to the dogs or the staff. Please help us raise money to chop down and remove these trees. And also to repair the broken shelters so these dogs have safety from the rain.

It's been a rough month for us here! The weather in Bali has been unpredictable, with more rainy days stalling our progress. We've managed to use some funds to clean up the walkways. But the larger structural damages will take a lot more time and money. With large sharp objects strewn around the shelters, we have to be extra mindful of the safety of our dogs and staff. To everyone who has donated so far - you keep our hope alive. As a small team who relies on the kindness of dog lovers around the world, thank you for supporting us. We've still got a long way to go with this rebuild! If you're in Bali, and handy with tools - please reach out, the dogs would appreciate your help. Otherwise, share this with the community and help us get back into shape! Thanks, BARC crew

Hi BARC family, We've been taking stock of what the storm has damaged, as the weather lightens up. As the list begins to grow we're filled with a sense of overwhelm, thinking how will we be able to make it through this? But as with every big challenge, the thing to do is take it step by step. We've identified the key areas that need to be repaired first, for the safety of the staff and the wellbeing of the doggos. This is our priority list: 1. Old-dog house area 2. Roof/fence for Old-dog house area 3. Laundry room 4. Bordering fences betweeen Old-dog area, puppies area and neighbour 5. Roofing of kitchen 6. Big kennel roof damage 7. Dog house near pond area 8. Dog house roof near bamboo house It's a big operation, that needs lots of materials and professionals. Thank you to those who've donated so far, it's your generosity that keeps our mission alive. Please send this link to any other dog lovers you know. We'd appreciate it. Thanks, BARC
