Save the unique is a Social and Natural Project Innitiative programme focused in conservate and preserve the Platypus Species in Queensland/ Australia. The process is integrated by

Habitat Restoration:

Collaborate with conservation groups and government agencies to restore and protect aquatic habitats through water quality improvement, habitat preservation, and invasive species control.

Research and Monitoring:

Conduct surveys and monitoring of platypus populations, as well as research into their behavior and ecology to inform conservation strategies.

Education and Advocacy:

Organize community workshops, school programs, and awareness campaigns to foster understanding and support for platypus conservation.

Work with fishing communities, scientists, and policymakers to develop and implement bycatch reduction measures and predator control programs.
