Just over a year ago, my incredible sister and best friend, Beth, received the devastating news of a Stage 4 Bowel Cancer diagnosis. In an instant, our lives were forever changed, but so was our understanding of resilience, courage, and unwavering determination.
Throughout this challenging journey, Beth has displayed incredible strength. She embarked on nine grueling months of intensive chemotherapy, all whilst maintaining her full-time job, refusing to let cancer dictate the course of her life. She's shown us that cancer may alter the path, but it can't dim her spirit. She is an inspiration to all.
Recently, Beth underwent major surgery to remove tumors and several affected organs, marking another brave step in her fight against this relentless disease. For anyone fortunate enough to know Beth, you'd agree that she's more than just a sister; she's the best mother to Belle, the most loving daughter, and an amazing friend to all who cross her path.
My family and I are determined to explore every possible avenue for her recovery. That's why we're reaching out to you today. We are raising funds to support Beth's journey to go to the Hope4Cancer Institute in Mexico in conjunction with conventional medicine.
