There are so many costs associated with being trans that it can quickly become overwhelming and feel impossible to achieve. I'm cycling 200KM a week to give this fundraiser some attention with the intention of reaching as many people as possible. The more people donate the less each person needs to donate to achieve this goal! Beyond the $25K cost of FFS (Facial Feminisation Surgery) there are other costs I'm looking at short/long term such as: - Bottom Surgery (Vaginoplasty) - $30,000 - Voice Feminisation Surgery - $4,000 (However I am accessing this publicly for free with a wait time of 12-18 months). - Medication - approx. $60 p/month - Laser Hair Removal - (face) $150 & the list goes on! The burden of these costs makes it impossible to afford things like a car or direct funds into my music career. This is part of how transgender people are disadvantaged socioeconomically among their peers.
