One of the most concerning issues affecting young people today is youth suicide. We lose seven young Australians every week to suicide. It's a heartbreaking reality that needs our attention and action. I've decided to embark on a journey to trek 135kms in 5 days to raise funds for youth mental health charity, zero2hero, who are dedicated to improving the mental health and wellbeing of young people and preventing suicide in Australia. As a virgin trekker, undertaking the cape2cape Trek is not just a physical challenge, it's a symbolic journey that mirrors the emotional struggles many young individuals face.
