Hervey Bay Life

Tonight (Tue 23rd May 2023), while working as an Uber Driver, Jules was involved in a car accident.

The other driver was a young person who had stolen the car earlier in the day from Maryborough. There were two cars stolen on this day (according to Jules) and they were racing around the streets.

If they didn't swerve to miss being hit, Jules says neither them, or their passengers, would be here

Jules Plea: "PLESE people - lock up your houses"

"Stop this crime that is happening. We have to work together to get this stopped"

"I am now out of a car with no income
Why should I have to pay the price of these A%#wipes for their little joy ride

We as a community are paying the price for this crime"

I run a business, called "Hervey Bay Life"

I am the admin, and the creator of a local FB group, in Hervey Bay... We're 35km from Maryborough, in Queensland Australia. I'm a local Pharmacist, and I have an MBA in Marketing and Business (University of Adelaide). I've lived in Hervey Bay for about 12 years...

I decided to ask the public for help, creating this fundraiser, in a show of love and care for someone who has been affected by crime in our town, thru no fault of their own.

We all would like to be assisted from time to time.. We would all like to be thought of, cared about, helped out, from time to time..

I felt this was the right time and right opportunity for our community to help someone out... to stand up, and help someone who was trying to get ahead, and would be devastated from the experience they had on the road, while trying to help others

All donations welcome. Anything over $5 is tax deductible. All donations, as small as $1 would be welcome... I believe the amount I've set is possible for our community, and I hope that if we only get a fraction of the money, it will be better than a kick in the pants for Jules. No one wants to struggle with a crappy car, when their livelihood (and that of others) depends on that car being safe to drive..
