Michelle Guppy kicking myeloma

Michelle (49) is a mum of 6 recently diagnosed with myeloma cancer and POEMS syndrome a very rare disease. She had her first round of chemo which caused a small stroke and a minor heart attack. Due to this POEMS disease, she now has necrosis and has to have her leg amputated putting off the treatment for her cancer.
Michelle is going to need rehab, a wheelchair, her home is going to need to be made safe, she will need a prosthetic leg. This is just the first step in what her donations will help with. Then she has the fight of cancer with chemo treatment and stem cell transplant multiple specialist appointments. Michelle lives in a small town of Benalla in country Victoria and living this far from Melbourne will need help with the costs involved for transport and accommodation for her and her family.

Michelle has always been a fun happy loud and proud person. Even though she is going to have the fight of her life... to be able to live, she is still being very positive. When she found out about losing half her leg, she wanted to organise a farewell party for it, unfortunately due to the severity she was not allowed to go home for this, and now she farewells her leg tomorrow 13/4/23.
