Simpsons Desert 100km Ultra

Hey Team T2KO!!
On June the 3rd I will be attempting to run 100km across the Simpsons desert to raise funds and awareness for those battling with Osteosarcoma.

The event takes place near Birdsville in south west Queensland on the edge of the Simpson Desert and traverses a variety of terrains. From towering sand dunes to rocky gibber plains, it will surely test the limits of each participant and allow them to immerse themselves in a truly unique part of the Australian landscape. . In summer it is frightfully hot, we’re talking 45 degrees celsius in the shade, and in winter it can get somewhat chilly. Winter nights will regularly plummet towards the very low single digits, with the days anywhere between 15-27 degrees (SDU is held in winter).

My event starts at 2pm so I will be running throughout the day and night.

As you can see this is event is not for everyone and it will test not only my skill but my mental and physical preparation for this race.

All of your generous proceeds will go directly to T2KO and help this growing Not- for- profit to strive for awareness across Australia as well as help those directly in need.
