My name is Lia, and I recently witnessed and learnt that one of my oldest best friends Angela and her partner Lyle, their son Jahvin recently passed away unexpectedly on the 20/03/23.
Jahvin and his family has endured and overcome so much trauma and recovery already. Jahvin was rehabilitating from losing his leg a few years ago from a freak accident, doing so well, recovering and living life to the fullest with a prosthetic leg!
Then recently he was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis and a blood clot on his brain! Which took him to another fight for his life. After around a week long battle in the ICU Townsville, where Jahvin battled one thing after another. Angela and Lyle were then told the most devastating news, that he woudn’t survive. Jahvin’s family’s wishes were honoured though, and he was flown back home to be taken off life support there, and he passed away peacefully in the rainforest, with his loved ones around him. He was only 9 years old!
No child should die before their parents, and parents having to endure such indescribable pain, I couldn’t imagine the magnitude of their heart break and grief!
I have created this funding page, aiming to raise 10,000, to help support a beautiful, grieving family, to go towards helping Angela and Lyle pay their bills, and any extra expenses their family needs, including putting their son to rest. Hopefully relieving some financial pressures, contributing to their healing and support they surely need. As I also found out they are both casual workers, which means no leave allowances, and therefore no financial stability. The last thing this family needs is financial stress, and having to go back to work early, when they need as much time as they can, to heal and be with their closest people, to endure this grief with as much love, time and support as possible, while being strong and providing for there eldest son, Zai.
This cause is so important to me because we could help them a lot, by giving them more time and some financial breathing space. Time to heal, focus on their family, and being with their support network, more time to mourn their son, and rebuild their lives, and get back to work when they are more ready and stronger. This financial support will make a big positive difference to their family, when dealing with such a traumatic life event.
Thank you, love and gratitude in advance for your contribution. You have no idea how much it means to me and their entire family and friends!

Thank you again!
I’m so sorry for your loss. I only just heard today. You have endured the hardest thing in all the world. I wish you all the love in the world.
