My family and I are getting our Legs Out for Lymphoma!
In mid 2022, Wayne was diagnosed with stage 3 NH lymphoma. After having several tumours removed he has undergone 11 chemotherapy treatments and will continue to do so for another 2 years. This has been a personal journey, one that has only been shared with close family and friends however we are accepting of our journey and want to raise awareness and crucial funds for this cause.
This March, EVERY KM, lap, squat or step each of my family take will help to support patients and families touched by lymphoma just like ourselves.
I'll be raising crucial funds that help give Australians facing lymphoma all the support and information they need by being able to access Lymphoma Care Nurses, call the support line, and have access to specialised information. No one should face lymphoma alone.
We wish we knew about this support service earlier in Wayne’s diagnosis and are looking forward to supporting this charity.
