I'm grateful to have BEAN Kidney transplanted in 2017. Grateful I taught hundreds more school students, became a fitness trainer to promote fitness and health for a quality life, plus viewed a few more blue skies than expected. I’m truly blessed a TRANSPLANT DONOR gave me the gift of life. As my gift, competing in the World Transplant Games (WTG2023) is for those who don’t have a TRANSPLANT DONOR yet and may not make it. I'm competing in lawn bowls, javelin and pétanque. Am I nervous? You bet. But, I'm determined to make a difference to those recipients waiting on the organ donor transplant list.
