We had a summer storm last Monday night with 300,000 lightning strikes. As a result multiple fires started In the South West. On Tuesday a large fire started in Noggerup and quickly escalated burning through pine and bluegum plantations. Many close by residents were on watch then the warnings were upgraded to Emergency. Kristy and her family fleed their family home In Yabberup on Wednesday night In the peak emergency only to return on Friday after everything had settled. We all thought it was over until yesterday afternoon strong SE winds caused the fire to go on a new path, it broke containment lines and went off on a vengeance again. Again the family evacuated yesterday arvo In an emergency situation. Today, they have learned that their family home of 10 years is gone with everything in it. Only having time to grab essentials. The house and contents was not insured. Kristy and her beautiful family have lost everything. If anyone knows Kristy she will do anything for anyone. Her kids are beautiful. Please help if you can.
