I’m joining this walk once again because I believe in the message and the cause - I’ve experienced stroke, lived the terror of finding half my body lost, no sensation or control and benefitted from the astounding breakthroughs that have been made in treatment so that I can enjoy a relatively normal life. This year’s walk is raising funds for a project that aims to reduce the incidence of stroke in the community and with 80% of strokes that occur known to be preventable, I hope you’ll see fit to support this cause too.
