1 in 4 women and children are impacted by Domestic and Family Violence in Australia.
Open Support and St Vincent's Clinics are paving the way for women and their families in crisis to have a future away from domestic violence - through the construction of a new Domestic Violence 'safe house' in Sydney.
It will provide 8 individual apartments to provide dignity and safe independent living for an additional 110 women and their children each year.
Due to massive increases in building costs since the pandemic, an extra $500,000 is needed to complete the build. The project needs all the support it can get to get it across the line by mid-2023.
Our goal, is to purchase a pallet!
$2 - will purchase a single brick $1,000 - will purchase a 'pallet of bricks' $10,000 - will landscape the garden $100,000 - will build a living room or kitchen $250,000 - will build an entire apartment
* All bricks are virtual but you are making a tangible impact to someone’s life.
