Help Nathalie on her journey back to health

Hi my name is Carly and I am a support worker who has worked with NDIS participant Nathalie for two years. Nathalie has Autism and ADHD and in recent years, her health has been declining, with GPs unable to diagnose her complex autoimmune condition. She experiences symptoms like debilitating pain, severe anxiety, neuroinflammation, insomnia, hormonal dysregulation, and chronic fatigue, effecting her cognitive ability, memory and focus.

Nathalie has been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Hypothyroidism this year, however this diagnosis does not address all of her other serious symptoms, and further investigation is needed. In order to find out the root cause of her illness, Nathalie has been advised to see a team of Specialists. However, the cost of many of these appointments and tests are not covered by Medicare and are far above what is achievable in her current financial situation. Due to the impact her condition has had on her life, Nathalie is not able to work which makes it extremely difficult for her to get the help she needs. Her family are all living in Sweden and not able to assist financially from abroad. The financial stress of this situation is also understandably making her condition worse.

Contact has been made with the Specialists and Nathalie has been given a treatment plan, however she is not able to continue without financial support.
With your donations, Nathalie will be able to continue the necessary steps with the Specialists, who hold the knowledge required to diagnose and treat her complex condition.

With the help of NDIS support, Nathalie has begun pursuing her dreams within art and music, however this is consistently hindered by her ill-health. Many days she is confined to her house and often not able to get out of bed. I would love to see her happy and healthy, so she can continue with her creative projects in art and music and share this with the community.
