The inaugural Flinders Fringe Festival (17-19 February 2023) has been created by a group of enthusiastic local volunteers with a love of the arts and a big desire support the resilience and recovery of the Mornington Peninsula by staging an event that showcases local performing and visual artists and provides audiences from near and afar something different. The festival will utilise local venues and involve local businesses and community groups. We are seeking finds to cover the start up costs.
Donors who contribute over $500 will be listed as Friends of Flinders Fringe on the website
The festival program includes cabaret, experimental jazz, choirs, giant puppets, First Nations workshops, sculpture, nature walks, ocean dancing, community picnic with community sing-a-long and much more. More than thirty events have already been planned to take place over 3 exciting days (17-19 Feb 2023) in 10 venues across the Flinders Village.
