Lifeline's call centre provides short term crisis support to a population of almost 300,000 people in the Loddon and Mallee regions.
Lifeline have to raise 75% of the funds needed every year to provide this service. Last year there were 84 deaths by suicide in our region, that’s almost two per fortnight. There has also been a significant increase in hospitalisations for intentional self-harm in the region in the past year, increasing to a worrying 184 admissions. The demand for Lifeline crisis supports locally has increased 36% since the start of the pandemic.
ESE Consulting will match every donation received to our fundraising page dollar for dollar, up to $5,000.
