Many of us are feeling frustrated with the reporting of current events over the last couple of years. Transparency of government relies heavily on newspaper coverage. We are setting up a newspaper to provide uncensored information on issues that are in the public interest (A People's Paper). The Light Australia is based upon the UK version which has been running for over 2 years. It started with a distribution of 20,000 copies and 2 years later the paper now boasts between 200,000-300,000 copies per month. Various local versions of The Light are being published in Ireland, Germany, Hungary and Canada, and with your help we can bring The Light to Australia. All funds raised will go towards the cost of publishing and distributing this newspaper. You can make a real difference by supporting this project. The bank account being used to collate funds is headed by Dominique Mimnagh, however it has full oversight by the The Light Australia committee, with multiple authorised signatories to ensure security.
