Karen was a vibrant, optimistic, charismatic and truly amazing person who loved life. She adored her family and her six children; three born prior to her kidney transplant in 1992 and three following.

Karen was a huge advocate for health and wellness and benefited from the medical research to support kidney health. Following her passing May 18 2022, her family are encouraging people to make a donation of any level in her memory towards continued medical advancement in support of kidney health.

Her desire would always be to raise awareness and help others. Thank you for contributing in her memory xxx

To Karen‘s family and her closest friends, I am absolutely gutted to learn that Karen has died. I didn’t realise Karen had had a kidney transplant. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Karen at RSL Care a number of years ago and occasionally via LinkedIn we would pass the odd message to each other during the years since then. I will always remember her being vivacious, kind, compassionate, super clever, fun, hardworking and generous. And she will always remain a “shining star” wherever she might be.
