The Yiramalay/Wesley Studio School will be taking on the Gibb Challenge in 2022 - a 660km team relay cycling event to raise community awareness and funds for charity. Ten students together with support staff, will join forces and aim to raise funds for the Kyle Andrews Foundation Inc, the principal beneficiary for 2022.

The Kyle Andrews Foundation Inc provides support to families with children undergoing treatment for cancer, suffering an ongoing medical condition or families that may have had a recent bereavement.

Kyle Andrews Foundation

The Kyle Andrews Foundation was established as a legacy to a brave young Broome boy, Kyle Andrews who lost his battle with cancer at the age of 11. In early 1998 Kyle was undergoing treatment for leukaemia at Princess Margaret Hospital and had a dream of bringing some of his young friends from Ward 3B to Cable Beach so that, in his words "they might feel better".
