About

Lismore and Surrounding Areas has faced not only 1 but two of the worst-ever flood disasters in has seen since the 70’s. Their community, businesses and homes in the Northern Rivers, NSW were underwater and their towns were isolated and residents forced to leave their homes.

From day one, our group has shown dedication and effort in providing continuous community support the
people of Northern Rivers.

Together as a community we have been working to gather donations into our donation drop off and distribute
them to areas that were affected by the 2022 floods on The Northern Rivers.

Our aim has been to collect and distribute kitchen packs, essential and individual needs, furniture and white
goods to the direct families, community hubs and recovery agency's in the affected areas.

Our focus in fundraiser is to raise money to go towards kitchen packs and deliver them directly to the door of the families in need.
The kitchen packs include a brand new Microwave, Kettle, Toaster, Dinner and cutlery set.
Each pack costs on average $100.
$3000 will enable us to give 30 families a fresh start.

Our group coordinators engage directly with donation hubs on the grounds of the Northern Rivers and distribute supplies accordingly to the areas of Lismore and its surroundings including Coraki, Broadwater, Wardell, Woodburn, Bungawalbin, Evans Head, Swan Bay and Empire Vale.

We have also had over 100+ families reach out to us directly and have requested individual support, which we facilitate to the best of our ability.

To date, 27th April 2022, we have successfully distributed 54 loads of donations directly to community, residents and hubs, which has resulted into assisting 100’s of people and families in this time of crisis.

Our community support, donations and volunteers are the heart and sole of this project.

Here is a little bit about who we are;
2 x Single mothers Stacey Warn and Meg O'Malley are proud to be representing the Coff's Community in coordinating the
generosity and support through the Donation Hub, to support the Northern Rivers.

Since establishing this project only days after the flood occurred, we now have an amazing team of 3 other local
volunteers who dedicated their time, 3 days a week at our donation hub.

The donation hub is open to the public for donations two days a week. The other day is made up off planning,
sorting donations and social media marketing.

Location: Shed 18 - Towers Mini Storage Coffs Harbour - 5 Isles Dr, North Boambee Valley NSW 2454
Days: Tuesday and Saturday Between 11am - 2pm

We would really appreciate your support and hope that you may be able to help us make even the slightest bit
of difference in this time of heartache.

We are not a non-for-profit or charity but have formed based on our community's response in wanting to be an active part in supporting and contributing to the people of the Northern Rivers on their journey whilst they slowly rebuild their lives.
