Mila Garnero is a 9-year-old who loves gymnastics, cheer-leading and is also an amazing artist. Mila is the sister to Olive and daughter of Alex and Marisa. In November of 2021, Mila was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL), which is a type of blood and bone marrow cancer that affects white blood cells.
Mila has started her treatment and is staying in Sydney to ensure that she can obtain the best care available. Whilst Mila stays in Sydney with her Mum, her Dad and sister are at home in Kiama (2 hours from Sydney) so that her little sister can still attend school.
As the family is based in Kiama there have been extensive travel and accommodation costs as well as out of pocket expenses for treatment. COVID-19 has also made this more difficult than it should be. Imagine having a 9-year-old that has cancer and also going through a worldwide pandemic!
This family needs our support to get through this tough time and we are appealing to you to help Mila and her family with any donation you can offer, big or small, to help cover the cost of accommodation and treatment for Mila and the family
Thank you in advance for your generous donation to enable Mila to stay close to her mum and receive the treatment that she deserves
Sending our love to one gorgeous girl, keep smiling xx
