With a FIFO career spanning 10 + years I have struggled being isolated from family and friends for long periods of time.
We all know someone struggling or have struggled personally with a mental health issue at some point in our lives. (Actual statistic is 1 in 5 or 20% will be effected.)
All money raised in the lead up to this epic event will go directly to mental health charity Black Dog On A Lead. Raising awareness and Talking openly to change the stigma surrounding mental health.
Black Dog on a Lead is a charity that encourages people to talk openly about mental illness. We believe that open communication is key for eliminating any stigma or taboo associated with mental health.
