New Life for Nelius and Her Son

There is hope for a new life for Nelius and her son.
If she could buy a small area of land she could build a small simple house, grow some vegetable crops and raise poultry, giving her and her child the security they have never had.
Nelius lives in Kenya, Central Province. She is an orphan and a single mother. Jobs are scarce and difficult to get, especially with a 6 year old child to care for.
After her parents died Nelius and her brothers and sisters were driven off their family land by her father's brothers. In time the siblings parted company and made their own ways, leaving Nelius to try to survive by trading in the market place and living with kind, but equally poor neighbours before eventually renting a hut for herself and her son.
With the help of a few small donations from a few kind foreign friends Nelius was able to buy a calf and raise it, later selling the cow for a profit allowing her, again with a little help, to enroll in a driving school and apply for a licence. Having a licence is one thing; getting a driving job without experience is another. So, while she tries to get driving experience the poverty cycle continues.
However now there is hope for a new life for Nelius and her son. If she could buy a small area of land she could build a small simple house, grow some vegetable crops and raise poultry, giving her and her child the security they have never had.
