My name is Junde Flores, an International Student here in Australia. I am part of a youth organisation back in the Philippines called "Youth Loves Dumanjug", a private organisation, where we raise funds through events and use the funds to provide basic necessities for vulnerable children in the Southern part of Cebu, Dumanjug.
Thursday night, Dec. 16 of 2021, Super Typhoon Odette (Rai) made several landfalls in the Philippines and made huge damages to places where the typhoon landed. Dumanjug is a small town of Cebu and one of the most affected and damaged places landed by Typhoon Odette where the wind runs for 160mph. Houses and buildings were wrecked, electrical lines were cut, farm businesses were damaged, and water lines are broken. Many have lost their homes and belongings.
Currently, Dumanjug and its neighbouring towns have no electricity, no water, and no places to stay. With our little act of kindness and with the funds that will be raised through this, we will be able to provide food, clothing, water, and toiletries to the most affected area and families of Dumanjug, and if we could raise more money, then we can make an event for the families to enjoy the upcoming Christmas Celebration. Fundraising is the only help I can provide to my beloved hometown, and this couldn't be done without your help and support and the cooperation of the Youth Loves Dumanjug organisation. This could be a great Christmas gift we could give to the families who most need it now. Thank you and may God bless you and your family.
❤❤❤let's help one another even in a simple way.GOD bless us all!
