We are moving closer to an injunction to save the Northern Rivers Railway from destruction.
We believe the Northern Rivers people deserve to retain this valuable public infrastructure for its intended purpose - Public Transport.
We have spoken to thousands of people over the past decade who cannot understand the injustice of 1. originally closing the Rail Services and 2. tearing it up for a bike trail.
We submitted 10,000 signatures to parliament, on behalf of the public, pleading to retain the tracks and return Rail Services. We were ignored and the line between Murwillumbah – Crabbes Creek and Casino – Bentley was officially closed.
We feel that the public have been misled in regards to the railways use, costs required to reinstall Rail and the projected benefits of the rail trail project.
If you have EVER agreed that the growing Northern Rivers Region deserves fair, sustainable and efficient public transport - just like many other regions of NSW have, then PLEASE donate to this cause TODAY.
When we reach our campaign target of $100,000 your pledged donation will then be withdrawn from your allocated payment option. All funds go directly towards the costs involved with saving the Northern Rivers Railway line from destruction.

Trains for everyone, please. This is on our watch, what will we tell future generations when they ask ‘what did you do to stop the cashed up bike lobby from ripping up the lines and taking over our rail corridor?

It makes no sense to rip up the tracks. Bring back OUR public transport!
