Hi, I'm Leen, I am a trans artist and librarian living with chronic pain. After 8 long years my laptop just won't turn on anymore. I am desperately in need of a new one. It's my only computer. I work from home and I am currently completing my PhD, so having a good computer is essential for my work life and personal life. Any spare income I have goes towards repaying a large personal loan I got to access gender affirming surgery, and towards healthcare to alleviate pain resulting from my fibromyalgia. I am seeking support from my communities because I simply don't know what else to do. I almost applied for another loan but my current debt is still years away from being paid off. I am hoping to raise $3000 to buy a new computer, which I will diligently care for, hopefully for at least another 8 years. Any amount of money I raise, big or small, will help alleviate the cost. If any additional funds are raised, I will put them towards paying off my loan for surgery.
