The 10 Challenge

I have created a charity challenge called The 10 Challenge to raise funds for Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention. I will run 10kms every day during October - The 10th month - to raise $10,000 for these causes. All proceeds will be split evenly between Lifeline Australia and Beyond Blue.

Supporters can participate by donating and/or by virtually completing 10,000 steps, walking 10kms or running 10kms every day in October and posting about it with the hashtag #the10challenge and tagging the account @the10challenge on their socials.

Why?

Well, mental health is low across the board and suicide hotlines are being inundated due to the pandemic and ongoing lockdowns. Hence, raising awareness and providing financial support for these initiatives has never been so vital.

Routines, healthy challenges and safely getting outside are key in this difficult time... It's a brave new world and we need to combat Languishing with Legs, Monotony with Momentum and Anxiety with Action. Let's all put one foot in front of the other and exit lockdown as a united, healthy community.
