Hello there! I'm doing Dry July this year, and am fundraising for 2 charities: Blue Mtns Cancer Help; and the Bob Brown Foundation...
I'm proud to have been raised by an environmental activist, my Mum, and such values I still hold dear today. This is why I chose Bob Brown Foundation.
When my Mum was diagnosed with life-limiting ovarian cancer, she was able to access services & support through Blue Mtns Cancer Help, a community health service started by activist Robyn Yates. Robyn filled the gap where adequately funded public health ought be, uniting community & supporting people effected by illness.
I'd appreciate your support during my Dry July by donating to these charities, and if you're skint, have a convo about them (Bob, or Robyn) instead to raise their profiles.
My Cause Gift Fund for Cancer Wellness Support and Bob Brown Foundation
Funds donated to the My Cause Gift Fund will be split 50/50 between Blue Mountains Cancer Help and Bob Brown Foundation. The Trustees will always disburse funds to the nominated cause, however in the case that is not possible, the funds will be disbursed to a DGR charity at the trustees discretion.
