There wouldn’t be too many around us who haven’t been directly or indirectly affected by Cancer. The way I see it, if I can run myself silly for a few hours (hopefully days) to raise some much needed funds to help find a cure or support those affected by this jerk of a disease, then why not. At 11am on Good Friday, I will start running 6.7km loops every hour on the hour until I am either the last one standing or cannot go on any further during the event known as 'Backyard Blister'. The aim is to hit at least 200km (30 loops) and then try to hit the 48 hour mark. Any donations or pledges towards this stupidity would be greatly appreciated!
