Thanks for visiting my Fundraising Page for Be Breathless for Pulmonary Hypertension!
I was diagnosed with CTEPH in 2014. After many years of medication I continued to get worse and many days struggled to breathe. However I was lucky that I was eligible to have Pulmonary Thromboendarterectomy (PTE) surgery. I had this surgery 12 months ago and I have gone from being breathless every day to each day getting stronger and be able to do more. In celebration I am aiming to walk on average of 8000+ steps per day with my new puppy. This is in comparison to 12 months when I was lucky if I could do 3000 steps per day.
