Mandy - my beautiful wife, amazing mother, grandmother, sister and friend. A compassionate giver, with a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone if she could. Strong and always positive who sees the good in everyone. She loves life and lives it to the fullest and that's why I'm asking you to help her continue it.
In January, 2019, Mandy was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. She had surgery to remove the tumor and 2/3rds of her pancreas. She underwent 6 months of chemo coming out cancer free in October 2019. In July 2020 the cancer had come back and metastasised in her lungs. After this latest diagnoses she started to explore further options apart from conventional medicine. She started a strict ketogenic diet, learning that sugar feeds cancer. She exercises daily and includes prayer and meditation in her routine. She believes the key to recovery is a strong positive mindset. Although the results of her latest scan showed some improvement, there's very little that conventional medicine can do for Mandy to cure her other than trialing new drugs.
