Thanks for visiting my Fundraising Page for the Walk for Women and Children on behalf of the Manly Warringah Women's Resource Centre (MWWRC).

I will be swimming this November to raise vital funds to help women and children escaping domestic violence and abuse.

The MWWRC provide crisis accommodation and support services for at risk women and children with a refuge on the North Shore, a refuge on the Northern beaches and a new Safe House on the Northern Beaches. COVID-19 has seen an escalation in domestic violence and abuse and an increased demand for these vital services. In fact, during the month of July 2020 there was an alarming 100% increase in the number of women and children referred to these services requiring safe accommodation and support.
