Join me as I participate in the 60 day challenge for the 2020 Walk for Mental Health. The Walk for Mental Health is an event I enjoy participating in annually to help raise awareness towards mental health, breaking the stigma surrounding mental health, and accessing mental health services when needed. Due to the restrictions in Victoria this event cannot run as it normally would, and has been implemented virtually instead. My goal is to walk 3km a day for the next 60 days. This goal may seem low to some, but as I am still recovering from a stress fracture I will take on this challenge and embrace it with open arms as I hop along with my crutches and moon boot.
Your generous donation will assist us to reduce the rising rates of mental illness and suicide across Australia and help to further educate the community regarding preventative measures and professional areas of support.
