No More Butts - Cigarette Butt Removal & Recycling

8 billion cigarette butts are carelessly discarded into the environment in Australia each year, amounting to over 20% of all recorded litter.

Whilst on travels around Australia and the world, I became increasingly aware of how many butts are on the ground and in the waterways. Not only does it look terrible, but the dumping of cigarette butts is also a large contributor to fires. In April 2020, I left my corporate career to focus on setting up an organisation to drive towards being 'butt free'. Now, I am on a mission to initially recover, then recycle cigarette butts, whilst researching products that can be made from the resulting plastic pellets. Most people don't know that they are actually recyclable! Now you know all of this, there really is No Butts About It!

Funds raised through this platform will go towards:
- running recycling programs, through existing partners
- running pilot rewards programs
- covering company costs, such as web-site hosting, business name registration, insurance etc.
