As with years gone by, May is the month I challenge myself because I can. I try to raise awareness of dementia and the impacts of the individual, but also those who love a person with dementia.
Over the 5 years I’ve been doing this challenge I have watched my Mum go from a functioning wife, mother and grandmother to someone who doesn’t remember the basics.
Lets try to keep our bodies healthy and happy so we can fight whatever comes our way.
I remember for someone who has forgotten ?
Any funds we can raise together will help in research for this insidious disease.

In 2003, Alzheimer's Australia established the Hazel Hawke Alzheimer’s Research and Care Fund to support dementia care research. Managed by the Dementia Australia Research Foundation, donations will fund emerging researchers looking at ways to improve dementia care across Australia.
