The Women’s Legal Centre ACT undertakes law reform work to promote social justice and a better legal system. In particular, we promote the interests of vulnerable women in our community. We are inspired and informed by our front-line experience with disadvantaged women.
The Women’s Legal Centre ACT also provides Community Legal Education. We help to improve each individual’s understanding of their legal rights and obligations. Our Aboriginal Liason Officer regularly holds education sessions as part of the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Women’s Access to Justice Program.
