In memory of our dear husband, father and grandfather, the Sawa's will again be taking part in the My Mount Eliza Run & Fun Festival, on Sunday 15th March, 2020. Peter Sawa lived life to the fullest and unfortunately passed away on 30th September, 2017, after suffering from Multiple Myeloma (a terminal blood cancer) for almost 2 years. The Sawa family will be participating in the 12km, 8km or 4km run/walk at the My Mount Eliza Festival, which is the brainchild of Geoff Nyssen who, in 2014 at the age of 40, was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. We are raising funds and awareness for the Snowdome Foundation through this campaign. Snowdome work to fast-track access to innovative blood cancer treatments by channelling your donations into ground breaking medical research, clinical trials and personalised therapies. So if you could spare some money for a great cause, that would be very much appreciated. We hope a cure is found soon, so that other families don't have to suffer through what we had to.
