Support Scott Johnson as he attempts to run 50km through the Victoria Alps raising awareness and acceptance for autism and money for both the Oscars100 Fund and Marnebek Special School.
Premier Roofing's Sheetmetal Foreman, Mark Eaton has a son Max. Max is a loud, excitable, overly enthusiastic 8 year old boy who has also been diagnosed with autism and attends the Marnebek School. Hence the desire to help support Mark and his family as well as give back to the Marnebek school that have supported him so well.
The year, Oscars100 is proudly supporting Irabina Autism Services and Mansfield Autism Statewide Services.
All money raised is split between the Oscars100 Fund and Marnebek school.
Scott is not built like a 50km runner, and no doubt he'll feel every step as he climbs from the carpark at Mount Buller to the summit, hurtle 1500m down to the valley floor and then climb back up to the summit again. Its one of the hardest 50km races in Australia.... an ideal selection for someone who's longest race is 23km.
We appreciate every donation to the charity, whether its to help support Oscars100, Marnebek School or just our of sadistic glee at the thought of Scott crying his way through 50km.
Great effort mate!!
