"More than 105 bush and grass fires continue to burn across NSW, 59 still to be contained." was the update from the NSW Rural Fire Service this morning, 22nd December 2019.
Our country is in a state of emergency, with lives, homes, animals, and their habits being wiped out before our very eyes. This country we call home is literally on fire.
I'm going to shave my hair off in March and would like to raise $1000 to help support the Rural Fire Service. I like my hair very much, even on crazy days (see picture!).
I haven't had short hair since I was a kid and got mistaken for being a boy. I have never shaved my hair off before and am terrified to see the shape of my head!
The clippers have been purchased and Brett, my partner will be doing the honors. For anyone that donates $25+ you can request a hairstyle you would like to see before it's fully shaven i.e. mohawk, bowl cut, curtains, etc. We will do our best to try out as many different styles and share the inevitably ridiculous photos.
