Like so many people Shelley her partner Amelia were going to be celebrating the long weekend by having a BBQ. When Shelley went to turn on the gas bottle it exploded and engulfed her in flames.
Leaving her with significant burns 46% of her body and face and leaving the house unlivable for the moment.
Unfortunately Shelley was in between contracts at the time and they will now move forward on a single wage. There will be months of hospital and rehab so any small contribution would be greatly appreciated.
