Three years ago I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. So many women are diagnosed late because the symptoms are vague and there is no early detection test. Its an aggressive cancer and so the prognosis is poor for many women. Less than 30% of women diagnosed with late stage ovarian cancer survive beyond five years.
Further research for an early detection test and a cure are urgently needed.
