There are a few of us (at last count, there are about a dozen of us poor souls) who are going to walk the 27km across the 7 different bridges throughout Sydney on Sunday, October 28th, 2018.
We will be raising money to help the patients at the Macarthur Cancer Therapy Centre where David received all of his treatment since he was diagnosed with Stage IV Bowel Cancer in October 2013.
The funds that we raise will be 100% going back to the patients at the MCTC, by way of upgrading the radiation and chemotheraphy machines, giving them new magazines and/or books and just making the 8 hours sitting in a chemotherapy chair that little bit easier to deal with.
It was David's wish that we try and raise as much money for the clinic as we possibly could, and this walk is just one more way that we can do that.

Funds donated to the My Cause Gift Fund will be disbursed to Macarthur Cancer Therapy Centre - Cambelltown Hospital - SWSLHD. The trustees will always disburse funds to the nominated cause, however in the case that that is not possible, the funds will be disbursed to a DGR charity at the trustees discretion.
